"In July 2003, several Eastern Illinois University Departments were scheduled to move into a new state-of-the-art facility. The facility was designed with minimal space allocation for physical records thus each department faced the need to store their records in an electronic document management system. With less than 12 months of planning and implementation time, the Eastern Illinois University Departments... banded together to meet the challenge. Specifications for an Electronic Document Management system were developed and proposals were reviewed. After a thorough analysis, ADMS was selected to provide the technical solutions and guidance for the conversion.
